About Dr Elyana
When my standard 1 teacher asked me about my ambitions, my answers were; 1: singer 2: actress 3: doctor. As I grew older, I thought I would become a scientist. I became a doctor instead.

I attended a boarding school in Joho Bahru, from the age of 13 for five years. After SPM, I had a stint at Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran Mara (KYPM) Bangi before I went to Kolej Matrikulasi Yayasan Saad (KMYS) for A levels.

I was lucky I got a scholarship to study medicine at the University of Glasgow. I didn't just study medicine, but I learned a lot more from being there. I met people from all walks of life, got to experience cultural diversity, visited nice places and had many more valuable experiences that made me who I am now.
​
Fair to say, I used to be a little narrow-minded... Living in Glasgow for 7 years changed me a lot. I learned not to be judgemental and more importantly, got to understand my religion differently (in a good way).

I am married to Mr Ameen (Mr because he is a Mr, Mr also because he is an ENT Surgeon) - my forever support system. We are blessed with 3 adventurous superhero.
I love to eat assam laksa.. tiap-tiap hari boleh makan assam laksa. In fact, most days memang I eat assam laksa.
